About Suprama Diagnostics
A specialised scanning centre built around one simple rule
Suprama Diagnostics is a specialised ultrasound scanning and fetal medicine centre in Mandya, focused on accurate diagnosis, compassionate care, and patient-friendly guidance.
Suprama Diagnostics opened on 10th May 2026, on 100 Feet Road in Ashok Nagar, Mandya. Before that, anyone in town who needed a detailed fetal scan or a second opinion on an ultrasound usually had to travel to Mysuru or Bengaluru to get it.
The plan was never to be the biggest scanning centre in Mandya. It was to close the gap between the person performing your scan and the person qualified to read it. Dr. Mamatha M. G performs and reads every scan herself, so you walk out with a verdict, not just a printout.
Gynaecologists, family physicians and hospitals across Mandya now send patients here when they want a scan read by a specialist rather than passed along a chain, trust built one accurate report at a time.

Your very first scan
Usually the first step right after a positive pregnancy test, to confirm the pregnancy and see how it's developing.
What to bring
Your gynaecologist's referral slip, along with a photocopy (Xerox) of your Aadhaar card.
Drink water, no fasting
You don't need an empty stomach. Do drink plenty of water beforehand so your bladder is full for a clear scan.
How it's done
Usually a simple scan over your tummy. Occasionally a transvaginal scan may be needed for a closer look.
After your scan
Take your dating scan report straight back to your gynaecologist, who'll review it and guide your next steps.

An early dating scan confirms your pregnancy and due date. The NT scan follows around 11 to 14 weeks, and the detailed anomaly scan around 18 to 22 weeks. Your doctor will guide the timing for you.
A Doppler scan studies blood flow, through the limbs, kidneys, neck arteries, or in pregnancy, between mother and baby. It's painless and helps assess circulation and wellbeing.
Fetal medicine is specialised care focused on the health of your baby before birth, assessing growth, structure and wellbeing, and guiding you with expert support when a closer look is needed.
Some scans need a full bladder, others need light fasting. When you book, we'll tell you exactly how to prepare so your scan is comfortable and accurate.
Please bring your doctor's referral or request form, any previous scans or reports, and a list of your current medicines. It helps us give you the most complete assessment.
